Outline/synopsis:
Vlad the Impaler was trained, during the Middle Ages, to become a soldier in the Ottoman Empire’s army. Years later, after he returns to Transylvania, he discovers an Ottoman helmet in a river, which leads him to believe that the Ottomans are preparing for invasion. His fears are strengthened once the Turks demand he sends Romanian children to be raised and trained for war. Thus, he chooses to become a vampire in order to protect his family, his kingdom and his people.
Personal view:
Romanians are loyal and willing to do all that is needed to preserve their country.
They are brave, faithful, honest, strong, devoted to their ruler and country, and proud of who they are.
They can be vengeful.
Some of them would rebel against their master, falling prey to temptation.
Dracula obsession.
