The movie recounts the story of Matthew van Helsing, who allegedly is the descendant of the famous Abraham Van Helsing. He is the owner of an antique shop and he lives in London, in the year 2000. One night, his secretary, Solina, leads a group of thieves into the house, and they discover that Matthew is hiding a silver coffin which is sealed. Due to the fact that the coffin is really well protected, Solina and her boyfriend, who belongs in the group of thieves, decide to take it to New Orleans with them. On board, they open the coffin and Dracula comes to life. In fact, it wasn’t Dracula, but Abraham van Helsing, who tried to maintain himself alive as long as possible until he discovered how to kill Dracula. Dracula is in fact Apostle Judas Iscariot, who has betrayed Jesus and as a punishment had to live 2,000 years as a vampire.
